From 6am approx for 3 hours
NEW IN - On arrival just as the sun was rising a Barn Owl flew over the fields on Rosa Lane towards Cavendish Mill, the first sighting in 18 months approx. Movement generally was non existent with the only other new species being 1 Lapwing.
LINGERING MIGRANTS - None.
Duck numbers remained constant, as was the Starling roost. Black-headed Gull numbered 220 which is an increase on previous mornings, 1 Jay went over east. Resident breeders still present, both Sedge, Reed Warbler and Blackcap seen today amongst others. Full list on eBird link below.
